Battle Secretary Chapter 3
For Battle Secretary: Chapter 3, I inked a complete 68-page chapter, translating draft artwork into publication-ready sequential linework while preserving the established visual language of the long-running series. The project required consistency across characters, environments, equipment, and action while strengthening clarity, texture, visual weight, and panel-to-panel flow. I collaborated with the writer and production team to deliver the finished chapter for publication in an ISBN-registered edition.
ROLE: Graphic Novel Inker
Penciling is received from the illustrator along with editor’s notes for speed lines and lighting
My responsibility is to ink/shade over the sketch to lay a solid ground work for tones/word bubbles to be laid out
the page is submitted back to be shaded with word bubbles added in
